How GUID is generated in the backend by workflow?

Hi all,

Can anyone suggest me how the GUID is generated in the backend by workflow. Actually I have to use class CL_HRASR00_WF_PROCESS_OBJECT method Raise Event. But in this method we need to pass GUID, which in the standard functionality workflow creates in the backend.

I believe that there should be a FM, which generates the GUID for the workflow.

Please suggest if anyone have any idea on this.
